How to turn on my subscription for Residential Proxies?

Written by Ann

There are several ways you can turn on your Residential Proxy subscription.

First time purchasing

When you purchase Residential Proxies for the first time, choose 'Subscription' as your payment option, and it will be renewed automatically from then on.

You’ll also get an additional 5% off as opposed to a PAYG option.

Reactivating your subscription

If you’ve canceled your subscription, you can reactivate the subscription in a few simple steps:

  1. In the Residential Proxies page, find the Subscription status bar and hit 'Reactivate.'

  2. Choose your payment method and click 'Complete order.'

Choosing a different subscription

If you want to update your existing subscription:

  1. Click 'Change Subscription' under 'Residential Proxies'

2. Select your data amount (2) and click the ‘Continue’ (3) button.

3. Choose your payment method (4) and click ‘Complete order’ (5).

If you only need to add some additional traffic, you can simply use the '+ Quick top-up' button.

Note: 'Change Subscription' only lets you increase your data amount. If you want to reduce the amount of traffic you subscribed to, cancel your current subscription and start a new one. See 'How to cancel my Residential proxies subscription?' for those steps.

Changing your payment card before renewal

If you update your saved card or select a different one for automatic renewal, make the change at least one hour before your subscription or order expires. That way, the new card can be applied in time.

Changes made within that final hour do not take effect before renewal, so the system uses your previously selected card instead.

Note: If the previous card has expired or is no longer valid, the renewal may fail. To prevent disruption, we recommend updating your payment details on time.
