With a standard browser, you share your IP address, location, software settings, and hardware information with each web server you interact with. Anti-detect browsers like ixBrowser enable you to modify this browser fingerprint as needed.

As a result, you can generate unique browser profiles and switch between them as needed without having to use multiple devices. That way, you can manage countless profiles on any website or other online platform from a single device without getting detected.

In this article, we’ll cover ixBrowser’s key features and offer a step-by-step guide on how to configure it with IPRoyal proxies.

Setting Up an ixBrowser Proxy With IPRoyal

1. Download the latest version of ixBrowser from the website. Launch the browser, sign up, and click the Create Profile (1) button.

5. Now it’s time to get your proxy credentials from the IPRoyal dashboard. We’ll use high-end (5) Residential proxies from Tokyo, Japan (6) , SOCKS5 protocol (7) , and sticky sessions (8) with a TTL (time-to-live) of eight hours (9).

6. Once you’ve configured your proxy settings, get your credentials from the Formatted Proxy List (10). Each line is a separate set of credentials containing your hostname, port, username, and password. Since ixBrowser doesn’t support batch proxy importing, you’ll have to import each set of credentials manually.

7. Now it’s time to transfer these credentials to ixBrowser. Select SOCKS5 as the Proxy Type (11). Copy a complete line from the IPRoyal dashboard and paste it into the Proxy Host field (12). Since ixBrowser recognizes the host:port:username:password format, it will distribute this information in the remaining fields automatically. Once you’re done configuring your profile, click the Create (13) button.
