If you see this message:

“Your deposit has expired. No payment was detected within the allowed time. To complete your order, please restart the payment process.”

It means the payment was not completed within the allowed time. Follow the instructions below to resolve this issue.

Payment Time Limit

  • All CoinGate deposits must be completed within 20 minutes.

  • If your payment is not detected before the timer ends, the deposit expires automatically.

  • To complete your order after expiration, you must request a refund and restart the deposit process.

Requesting a Refund

To request a full refund from Coingate:

1. Visit the Deposit page and click the button next to the expired deposit.

2. Click the three-dot button and select ‘Need help’.

3. Select ‘I paid, but my order expired.’ from the list.

4. Click the ‘Contact us’ link.

5. Fill in the required information:

  • Email: The email address you used to make the deposit.

  • Your message: A brief explanation of the situation.

  • Requesting a refund? Turn this option on.

  • Transaction network: The blockchain you used to make a deposit. If unsure, check your crypto wallet history.

  • Transaction ID (or TxID): Look for it in your crypto wallet under ‘Activity’ or ‘History’.

  • Refund address: The receiving address for your refund. Open your crypto wallet, click on ‘Receive’, and choose the correct coin/network to see it.

6. Click the Send button when done.

Note: CoinGate usually processes refunds within the same day. If the process takes longer, please be patient. Once your refund is complete, you will receive an email confirmation and you can make a new deposit.

If you need additional assistance, follow up with CoinGate directly via live chat or submit a request.
