Web Unblocker is an AI-powered proxy solution that works as a standard backconnect proxy. You replace your current proxy endpoint with the Web Unblocker endpoint, and your scraper keeps sending requests to a website as usual.
As a result, you get the target website’s response while IPRoyal handles IP rotation, retries, and CAPTCHAs automatically.
Web Scraper API is an API that collects the content of your target for you. Instead of routing requests through a proxy, you send a request with your target to IPRoyal’s API endpoint.
You get the content of your target in the API response, which can be page HTML or structured JSON, Google search results as JSON, or an image as a Base64 string. IPRoyal handles the proxies, browser rendering, retries, and bot-detection challenges automatically.
Both IPRoyal Web Unblocker and Web Scraper API handle retries and bot-detection challenges, charge only for successful requests, and need your own setup to send requests. Use them only to collect public web data, as defined in the IPRoyal Acceptable Use Policy.

When to Choose Web Unblocker
Choose Web Unblocker if you already have a scraper that works with proxies and you want to add automatic unblocking without changing your code. You only swap the proxy endpoint, and your scraper handles the rest of the workflow as before.

When to Choose Web Scraper API
Choose Web Scraper API if you want to send a request with your target and receive its content without any proxy setup. It's also the better option if you need structured JSON from web pages, Google search results, or image files.
Note: Web Scraper API is currently in beta. To try it, fill in the request form on the Web Scraper API page using the email address linked to your IPRoyal account.
