Yes. Your whole team can use the same Web Scraper API token. Everyone who uses the token shares the account’s credit balance and concurrency limit.
The concurrency limit applies to the token, not to each person. The total number of requests running at the same time across your whole team can’t exceed 50. It makes no difference whether 50 people each send one request or one person sends 50 requests at once. The limit is the same.
If your team exceeds the limit, new requests return a ‘429 concurrency_limit_exceeded’ error. These requests don’t use credits. Wait for an active request to finish, then retry.
To check your current limit, use the User endpoint (GET /v1/user). The ‘concurrency_limit’ field shows how many requests can run at once. If your team needs a higher limit, contact IPRoyal Support.
Here are a few things to consider before you share your token:
Regenerating the token affects everyone. When anyone on the team regenerates it, the old token stops working immediately for all users. Agree on who manages the token, and share the new one with the team right away.
Share it securely. Use a password manager or a secure team vault instead of chat messages or emails.
