The time a Web Scraper API request takes depends on your target website. Websites with strong bot-detection systems usually take longer. In rare cases, a request can take up to 75 seconds.
That’s because IPRoyal handles anti-bot protection, renders the page when needed, and retries some temporary failures before it returns the content.
To make sure your application receives the response, set your client timeout to at least 90 seconds. If your client terminates the request earlier, the request can still finish on IPRoyal’s side and use a credit.
