Residential Proxies
When you connect through a Residential proxy:
Your client application (e.g., browser, script, or software) connects to the proxy server.
This connection can use HTTP, HTTPS/TLS, or SOCKS5 protocols.
The proxy server then connects to the destination website.
This connection always uses either HTTP or HTTPS, depending on how the website itself is configured.
Our Residential proxies support both options.
Important: Residential proxies are compatible with TCP connections.
Datacenter and ISP Proxies
When you connect through a Datacenter or ISP proxy:
Your client application connects to the proxy server.
This connection can use either HTTP or SOCKS5 protocols.
The proxy server then connects to the destination website.
This connection always uses either HTTP or HTTPS, depending on the website.
Our proxies support both.
Important: ISP and Datacenter proxies are compatible with both TCP and UDP connections.
